LAB 1

BASIC PHOTOSHOP

In this lab, we were introduced to the essentials of Photoshop. From installing the program to producing our own photoshopped images. We were able to learn various techniques of editing images on photoshop and adapt to the basic tools of the Photoshop software. Primarily, our task was to create an image, set the presets, size, resolution, color mode, width, height and background contents of the image. Some of the tools that we were introduced to were the Background Eraser Tool and the Magic Wand Tool. 

The outcome of this lab is the picture below - an image of a face made from various foods. We downloaded multiple images of food, layered, rotated, duplicated and edited each of them resulting in another image of our own creativity and imagination.
